Economic Development Council

Through an aggressive pro-active approach, the Economic Development Council (EDC), a 501(c)3, works to recruit a diversified mix of business and industry. In conjunction with the Farmville Development Partnership (FDP), the EDC promotes the benefits of locating in Farmville, an economically viable small town that is ideally situated along the Raleigh-Greenville Corridor. The EDC is the lead agency for the development and promotion of industrial parks and/or lots within the community. The EDC was instrumental in the creation of both the Small Business Incubator and the Industrial Park.
