Downtown Partnership

Farmville's proactive Downtown Partnership, which is a 501c(3), works to enhance the central business district and promote Main Street. The Partnership sponsors a variety of downtown promotions that attract people to Main Street and enhance the quality of life in Farmville. These community events include Hometown Halloween, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, A Taste of Farmville, the Christmas Parade, and the Independence Day celebration on the Town Common. The Partnership also sponsors an annual St. Patrick's Day auction and the money raised is used for downtown revitalization projects, such as providing matching grants for façade improvements.
